Indian Real Estate on RadioOur all favorite radio is on a new track with launching new prospects for the people holding vigorous interest in booming Indian property market. The initiative to come up with such ear catching turn on is first made by 94.3 FM with an announcement of launching “Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki”. Following in the footprints is 98.3 Radio Mirchi with another radio program based on the same theme – catering to demanding needs of property seekers and investors. The show has been named as “Ghosle Ki Khoj” and will be on air from 13 January.

New Housing Prospects Grown by Delhi Master Plan 2021

Although, the Delhi Masterplan 2021 has caused some concerns, but it is surely better than the earlier ones as far as housing development projects are concerned. Unlike others, it lays emphasis on private participation in land development and housing thereby painting a rosy picture for the housing sector. But the existing limits on the height of buildings will be eased, so as to facilitate best use of land.

Housing requirement of the teeming millions has been showcased as the prime area of concern in the draft of Masterplan 2021. Twenty eight percent of India’s population, i.e.300 million people lives in cities and towns. This shows that urban India is the second largest in the world. Projections are that by 2045, 70% of Indians will be living in urban areas. At present, India has 5200 small and big towns and by 2050, an additional 3000 townships will be required. No Relief for Delhi Traders in Delhi Master Plan 2021

After different rumors floating in the past, Delhi Masterplan 2021 is apparently set to go. But, the traders and businesspersons do not seem to be much satisfied with what has proposed in the new plan as it has little to offer those affected by the sealing and MCD demolitions over the last few years.

Although, the plan boasts of solving all woes of the Capital, it does not even talk about the sealing drives despite the fact that they have become a looming threat to the trader population. This clearly marks that the sealing action will continue as directed by the Supreme Court. Read More »
