Royal Orchid, one of the prestigious hotels in Bangalore is eager to broaden its horizons across India. Encouraged by the same, the group is considering investing Rs 500 crore over the next two years to add around 2,000 rooms to its present facility of 750.
The Group will set up exclusive five star hotels in Delhi, Noida, Shimla, Jaipur, and Mumbai, informs Chander Baljee, Chairman, Royal Orchid.
The hotels in Mumbai, Delhi, and Noida will all be operational by 2009 as the group has already acquired the land in these cities.
Royal Orchid already has nine properties in Pune, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Mysore. It also has the plans to take the existing properties on lease in addition to building them as well.
Royal Orchid enjoys the status of being the largest chain of hotels in the city. The group has recently launched its new hotel, Brindavan Gardens, in Mysore.
