Location: South of Delhi
Mehrauli is located at the outskirts of Delhi City. It is the southern end of Delhi and sets adjoining to Gurgaon. The region is famous for abiding Qutab complex of monuments within its vicinity. It lies quite close to one of the heritage sites of Delhi - Qutub Minar. The area encloses many tombs in its vicinity. Balban Tomb, Madhi - Masjid, Sultan Garhi Tomb, Palam Mosque are few to name.

The region is quite well planned and well lay out. The region also has Mehrauli Darbar complex which is at 2 km from Qutub Minar. Being a residential area, you will find many schools and hospitals in close proximity. Resorts like Kairali Health resort are structured keeping in mind the health of the residents.

The Crescent Mall, at the doors of Qutub on Mehrauli Gurgaon road is the latest fashion address for Delhi’s designer fraternity after MG 1 and MG 2 came crashing down courtesy the demolition drive a few months ago. Big names like Rohit Bal, Tarun Tahiliani, Suneet Varma and Manav Gangwani are just some of the designers having shop’s at The Crescent. Jawahar Lal Nehru University, Indian Institute of Mass Communication and several other educational instituted for higher studies are situated here. Gradually, it has turned into an institutional area in Delhi.

Also the metro will reach Mehrauli soon. As the Japanese Bank of International Cooperation — which had given a go ahead to funding for the Metro link up to Mehrauli — the delay in the construction of the Delhi Metro line from IIT to Mehrauli has been reduced. Metro Section joining IIT and Mehrauli will be completed by June 2010. All these developments are affecting the property rates in Mehrauli.
