Real estate developer Ambuja Realty will be entering the boutique hotel segment in coming two fiscals in West Bengal. Ambuja Reality is a joint enterprise between West Bengal Housing Board (WBHB) and Gujarat Ambuja Cements Ltd (GACL). The company would be constructing six boutique hotels at different tourist locations in West Bengal. While lecturing on the plans, Mr. Harsh Neotia, chairman of Ambuja Realty stated, “We will come up with five to six resorts in tourist destinations in the state and also a few city properties in the boutique hotel category.”
The boutique hotels will be equipped with a unique theme based on the place where it comes up and they would all have the second name ‘Kutir’ with the first name associated with the locality. “We will expand to other parts of India and abroad after two or three years once the brand is established,” Neotia added.
