Dan Hotels Plans to Enter Indian Market, in talks to Buy Site

Dan Hotels Ltd, whose 13 properties include the historic King David Hotel in Jerusalem, said it plans to acquire land to develop its first property in India.

Dan is negotiating to buy a site at an unspecified location and plans to build a hotel there at a cost of at least 50 million dollar, the Tel Aviv-based company said informed to the city’s stock exchange today.

Completion of the purchase hinges on getting the required approvals, Dan said.
