North East Property Fair a Big Hit

A large number of home-seekers thronged Mannat, the property fair organised by The Telegraph and North East Entertainment and Media Agency with several top builders displaying a range of residential projects to suit the taste and wallet of different categories of customers. The two-day exhibition inaugurated yesterday, had a lot to offer to prospective house-owners ranging from a secure and spacious location in the city to all allied information from the players in the market.

The fair comes at an opportune and important moment as the demand for residential and commercial property is at its all-time high in the city and the real estate market is at its booming best. The fair, being held at Hotel Grand Starline on GS Road has, played the role of a facilitator for both the users in search of houses and the builders. “Our main objective behind organising the fair is to provide a platform to the builders, promoters and developers from the region to showcase their property and share details of their upcoming projects with prospective house-owners,” the managing partner of the agency, Utpal Das, said.

The agency is a Guwahati-based event management group that is also into organising events on sports and celebrity management. Das said: “We also wanted to facilitate direct interaction between the builders, promoters and the investors.” Big names in the real estate market like Ideal Hill View, Shine Realtors, Uttarayan, Kolkata West, among others, along with leading names in property dealing like REBI and HDFC Realty are participating in it. “We have received a positive response,” Das said. Ravi Kumar who visited the fair with his family was quite effusive in his appreciation for the fair.
