Nowadays, property developers are looking forward to incorporate additional facets in their projects they have in hand as a part of their strategy to grab the attention of more and more customers. Following the same trend, developers in Chandigarh neighborhood of Mohali and Zirakpur are projecting shopping malls, golf courses and sports academies in their residential projects.

The latest township in Mohali- “Ansal API golf Links” by the renowned Ansal Group features a multi usage mall, a multiplex cinema, and a hotel of international standards. Anyone hearing the concept may get surprised to think about a residential complex with its own shopping mall. “It’s for the convenience of the customers”, says Kunal Banerji, vice president, marketing and Corporate Communication, Ansal API in so clearing everyone’s doubts.

Another example has been set by the Chadha Group’s West End Estate, also coming up in Mohali. This Delhi based highly reputable conglomerate with diverse interests in real estate, boasts of developing the West End Estate on the patterns of a sports village. According to group’s director Manpreet Chadha, the Estate will feature the world class sports facilities available to residents of the township only. It will nourish the skills of budding athletes to the residents living within the estate.

These residential complexes embracing ultra modern facilities target growing high middle class, who want to raise the standard of living and leave the contemporary style of living in India behind. Interestingly, they seem to succeed in their mission.
