Dwarka has certainly undergone a paradigm shift in the past couple of years with frentic real estate developments in city. With high rise apartments and planned townships, the city is witnessing a new trend in lifestyle living. Besides apartments, the concept of integrated township is also ushering in Dwarka with many prominent players busy developing exclusive projects here.
The rate of residential property in Dwarka has doubled within two years. No good residential property is available for less than Rs 70 lakh now. Metro has emerged as a matter of major convenience for the residents here. With Metro having started, it has become easier to get to any part of Delhi, says Asha Malhotra, a resident.
There are total 29 sectors in Dwarka, of which, 23 are functional. Occupancy in the city has reached to 40% as against 20% primarily because of the metro and the underpass. The rate of occupancy can further go up to 70-80% if the CBI clears all the colonies. Many people are there who are highly interested and eager to buy residential property in Dwarka.
Within the time period of 1-2 years, an ISBT will also start in Sector 23, Dwarka. In addition to being located in proximity to the airport, Dwarka also enjoys other advantages including well planned areas, wide roads, big marketplace, and a better connectivity to important places in the Capital City.
Among other exclusive developments in the city’s pipeline, the most notable one is a ten-acre fashion hub scheduled to come up in Dwarka. With the individuals having large appetite for entertainment, it is certainly going to become one of the most happening places in Dwarka, says Leena Singh, Ashima-Leena Designers.
Overall, Dwarka has a bright future in the sense that the government has planned Phase II in terms of relocating some prime usage there.
