No one would have noticed Jasola in such a way before as it has been explored by property developers now. Known to be the largest urban villages in Delhi, Jasola is to witness a multitude of real estate projects in near future. Of all, the exclusive ones include two major road and bridge projects which have been approved by the government.
Jasola caters to an urban population of nearly 14,000 individuals. The village has large tracts of land which have nowadays become common hunting ground for investors and real estate developers.
The construction work will be executed by the Public Works Department, says the Expenditure Finance Committee of the Delhi Govt. The first project will be a service road from Jasola cut to Kalindi Kunj junction. It will pass from near Shaheen Bagh. The Road project will involve an investment worth Rs 1.25 crore and is likely to be over within six months.
Another project which will give a major facelift to Jasola is a two lane bridge on the Agra Canal, south west of Kalindi Kunj junction. The bridge would be completed with a whopping investment of Rs 2.4 crore and expected to be operational in a year’s time. The bridge will handle the traffic from Noida as well as other vehicle population in Jasola.
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has come up with a two-phase housing scheme. The first phase will have 504 plots on an area of 20 hectares with 3,900 group housing apartments planned over nearly 29 hectares. As far as the second phase is concerned, it will have 168 flats on over 6.7 hectares.
