The company won it at a price bid of Rs 321 crore against a reserve price of Rs 300 crore, says a DDA spokesperson.
Emaar MGF is a joint venture between Dubai-based Emaar Properties and India’s MGF.
The company’s name was earlier suspended when some legal complications in the bidding came before.
The company expresses its ecstasy over wining such a prestigious project. It would be one of the most real estate landmarks for the company to gain a global event possessing great potential.
Of 14 builders requesting qualification and showing large interests for development of the village, only 11 qualified. However, only DLF and Emaar MGF came forward to submit bids for constructing the village.
DLF had been disqualified on the grounds of not having fulfilled the given criteria in the tender.
